It's that time of year where we start to wind down and simultaneously look forward -
One of the artists for 2017 I'm looking forward to is a band from Los Angeles called MXMS....
Fronted by the ever lovely, Ariel Levitan.
They've just started making some waves on those now all important Spotify Playlists (ElectroNOW, indietronic, Young & Free, etc...) with a song called simply "LIKE A SONG" - a collaboration with DJ Tommie Sunshine.

And, today the super cool girls' newsletter, CLOVER, shared a song called RX, written about Ariel and her battles with depression via prescription drugs.

MXMS will be releasing their full length debut in the new year. You can also expect to see, at least Ariel, on the runway at some upcoming Fashion shows this February in NYC.

The event is the outgrowth of WiLL's Making Wishes Matter Foundation — a nonprofit organization that strives to make an impact in WiLL's community by empowering young people to discover their talents, assisting less fortunate families, and granting the wishes of individuals within the community.
Wish Week kicks off with the Radio One Christmas Angels Event on Monday, December 19th, in which kids supported by the non-profit Our House will receive gifts and treats. The week continues with Wish Fest on Tuesday, December 20th where kids, including foster and homeless youth, will join Mike WiLL and hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd (who are signed to WiLL's label Ear Drummer Records) for an evening of food, games, and gifts at the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games.
